I bought these off eBay for about $13 delivered. Unfortunately, they were taped to black construction paper and the cellophane tape left a mark when I removed them. I received 19 cards in this auction and that appears to be how many there were in total because every set I’ve seen on eBay has the same 19. There is no date on these cards but the combination of the kits, players present and players absent suggest they were printed in advance of the 1982 season before all signings were completed.
The back of the card contain some (very) general soccer terms and and Fire Tip from the insurance company Metropolitan Life, now known as MetLife. Unfortunately they don’t contain any additional player-specific information.
Please exclude the crappy built in WordPress table which may or may not get addressed later. Included in the set:
| 2 | Glenn Myernick |
| 3 | Willie Donachie |
| 4 | Gary Collier |
| 6 | John Bain |
| 7 | Dale Mitchell |
| 9 | Ron Futcher |
| 10 | Carl Strong |
| 11 | Stuart Lee |
| 12 | Willie Anderson |
| 14 | Bruce Gant |
| 15 | John Pratt |
| 16 | Brian Gant |
| 17 | Greg Ion |
| 18 | Bernie Fagan |
| 22 | Bill Irwin |
| 23 | Young Jueng Cho |
| 24 | Chris Hellenkamp |
| 31 | Dragan Radovich |
| Coach | Vic Crowe |
Missing from the roster are Keith MacRae (1), Graham Day (5) Jimmy Conway, and (8), Jimmy Kelly (21).
And now, the reason you are here…

Here are the backs of the cards, presented in the same order.

Here’s a roster shot courtesy of NASLJerseys.com. I say “courtesy of” but in fact that web site appears to be archived. Most of the links are dead and there is no way to contact anyone. Let’s hope the hosting bill is getting paid.
